like I mentioned in an earlier subject. I have
2o photo Disc( 3 great shots) from the Vashon Bash with me
at the oct. meeting. So who was at the bash with the car get each
1 disc. Photo was made by professional lawrence Allen.
So, you better come to the meeting to pick it up.

        thanks

And for your viewing pleasure in the garage tonight, there is a nice white/over blue Mk II Austin Cooper S. One owner from 3000 miles. Original US import. Came down the assembly line 54 cars after Al's and only 7 cars after Chris'.

I lust after the Cooper S. I have first dibs if it comes up for sale. Nice turn out for the meeting. Thanks to Chuck and Doro (again) for putting up with us. A new member from Vashon with a nice Woody. Peter says that there are now 10 minis on the island. Could it be that there is something going on in the south sound that we should be watching? VIMOA. Hmmmm.

Always fun to have the crowd at the house.
Yes, the Mk II is nice. It's a shame that those new to Minis ending up with the later cars never got the chance to drive earlier Minis to experience what the Mini driving experience is all about.
The car belongs to Carlos Quintana of Quilcene. I'll see if I can get him into the club.
Good crowd last night. Anybody get a count of how many people attended?

Great Meeting! Thanks Chuck. I didn't get a count, but some very cool stuff to see. Some "new" Minis to see:

Oly Jensen's new Mini 40 in Silver - absolutely stunning
Ken's? new to him beautiful 68 Morris Countryman 1000 ( The new VI member )

Others that I'm sure I missed, too.

See you all at John Barrett's shop for the November Meeting!
                      Best regards,
