January 27th, 2018 - White Elephant Auction / Meeting / Elections

Don and Brian have a new garage! It's three blocks north of the old one. It has running water, bathroom, and heat. It also has plenty of parking so please bring a Mini to the event.

It's time to wrap up your useable parts and accessories and get ready for the upcoming WHITE ELEPHANT SALE.

WHEN: January 27, 2018

WHERE: Don and Brian's garage - 8829 Roosevelt Way NE

SCHEDULE: Arrive anytime after 11am -- lunch will start around noon. The club will provide dogs, chips, soda and water. Feel free to bring a potluck dish.

The auction will start at around 1-1:30 (a VERY short meeting will be held during the auction).NOTE: there will NOT be a silent auction this year

Please bring tables and chairs

Alcohol is allowed but not provided

The title of the post for the White Elephant sale states a date of 28 Jan. but the text of the message says the date to be 27 Jan. My guess would be Saturday, the 27th, right?

Yes it is going to rain, a lot. Don't worry we will be covered for the BBQ and the event is indoors. Lots of parking for Mini's.

Here's a little project for the treasurer or the pres; How does one get tax credit for contributions to the WES?

Lis said that last year she was able to put it in and Turbo Tax was able to find SAMOA as a 501c. Dan and now Ed possibly should have the specific registration numbers if needed.

Dan left me a box of "secretary stuff" before he left on his months-long trip. I'll have to dig through and see if I can find said info. It's in Mr. Mustard's boot and Mr. Mustard is at the garage on Roosevelt. I'll get down there asap and get back to you.
