It's time to wrap up your useable parts and accessories and get ready for the upcoming WHITE ELEPHANT SALE.
WHEN: January 28, 2017
WHERE: George Thompson's garage -- 2267 ne 77th st, seattle, 98115
SCHEDULE: Arrive anytime after 11am -- lunch will start around noon. The club will provide dogs, chips, soda and water. Feel free to bring a potluck dish.
The auction will start at around 1-1:30 (a VERY short meeting will be held during the auction).NOTE: there will NOT be a silent auction this year
The object of the exercise is fund-raising and everyone understands that. Everyone also enjoys a bit of mystery, so used parts may bring higher bids if they're wrapped.
If they're valuable parts, leaving 'em unwrapped may encourage members to bid to the value.

"If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there." -- George Harrison
Yes, thanks to George. It was the 39th W.E. Auction in the last 40 years.
There was a good turn out. 17 or 18 Minis in spite of losing the front lawn place to park.
Toby won the big spender award, and newly elected President Brian presented Chris Miller with the well deserved Penna Inspirational Award.
The more I know about Minis, the more I know I don't know about Minis.
