Meeting Schedule (Probably!)

6 p.m. Start gathering to watch Mini videos, see what the latest is in the garage, and talk Minis. (And pet the dog, if he's being civil.)
6:30 p.m.: Club-sponsored traditional Christmas dinner (pizza, Subway, and non-alcoholic beverages) (And pet and feed the dog. For food, he's civil.)
7:30 p.m.: VERY short meeting (includes officer nominations for 2013).
8-10:00 p.m.: More Mini videos and enjoying each other's company. (Including the dog.)
7-10:00 p.m.: Club regalia for sale. They make great Christmas gifts! (Buy two of anything and dog thrown in for free.)

Dress code: Mini casual. Santa hats optional.

Interesting get together. Little went as planned, and on a night when we expected a small turn out and bought one less pizza (only 5 instead of 6), all the food (pizza, Subway, snacks, etc.) was gone by 7:00! Usually, I have Subway for lunch and dinner for a few days. Good thing Dorothea didn't put out all the Oreos or there wouldn't have been any left for me.
Even though some of the regulars didn't make it, we had an unofficial count of 40 people (including guests). James made his usual long commute from somewhere just north of Portland, and we had a member that made it from Everett through the southbound I-5 mess.
Bill's car was showcased in the garage capturing an admiring crowd, and I dragged out a couple of videos that very few had seen before.
If there was only a way I could have harnessed the energy of people talking and enjoying other Mini lovers' company, I could heat the house for all winter.
