Don't forget to bring your White Elephants, and if you have something you'd like to add to the silent auction table, please do so.

A reminder: a white elephant should be something Mini related (although we're a little relaxed on this point), but whatever the wrapped package contains, it should be of use.

          Auction rules:
o Bids in increments of one dollar. We allow bids such as 997, 1098 or 1275, but know that if they win, the amount is rounded up to the next dollar.
o Settle up with the Treas. as soon as you can. Checks and cash accepted.
o As in the past, clever George will probably stash a few "incentives" in the packages.

The only other rule I can think of, is do not eat all Kelley's red beans and rice before I get some.

Sorry we missed this one. We were on our way there going down Maple Valley Highway and the car sputtered to a stop close to Ceder River Golf Course. The gas gauge said it was full, but acted like it was out of gas. We got some gas in the tank (maybe a gallon) and it fired right up. My thought is there might be something in the fuel or the tank that might have temporarly closed off the fuel intake. We haven't had any issues before like this and it ran great going home.

Thanks for hosting the "almost premier" event of the year! My son had a great time again, he asked me when the White Elephant Auction was again this year. He ships out to Diego Garcia for a year in another month or so gave me some great one on one time together with him.
Thanks to everyone else who worked to put this together. Last but not least thanks to Dan Berglund for being so inspirational!!

Gee. I've been accused of being a lot of things, but I don't think inspirational was ever one of them.

Thanks, Skip, and thanks to everyone for being part of a club I'm proud to represent whenever I'm out driving around in my little car.

Now here are a few more photos from yesterday.
