The next meeting, July 17th, is a Saturday meeting/club sponsored BBQ to be held at Steve Gay's house in Woodinville. If you haven't been there before, there's a big lawn out back where the Minis can park.

    Steve will provided details soon.

    July meeting

The July meeting will be at my home on Saturday the 17th, with the meeting starting at 11:00 and BBQ at noon. SAMOA will provide burgers, hot dogs, snacks and soft drinks. If you have folding chairs you may want to bring them but we have quite a few here.

All Minis are invited to drive around to the back yard where we will have the cars on display, and you're welcome to show up any time after 10AM.

The address is 18619 185th Ave NE, in Woodinville, zip 98077 if you want to Google map it.

Call 425 844-4321 if you need directions or get lost, or send me a PM if you'd like a map.

    Steve

Week from today. Great Mini photo opportunities at Steve's, both before and after the meeting.

Tomorrow's the day and it looks like we'll have good photograph weather. As Steve mentioned, show up as early as 10 to get the cars lined up.

I'll not be attending the meeting tomorrow. Can someone who is please stop by my place and pick up the box of hats and clings? Also, if I knew who the two way radio that appeared in my car during the Penticton run belonged to and if I knew that person was going to the meeting I could throw the radio in the box too.

              Don

I really didn't know that the radio was in the car untill Jerry did a test call. Scared the heck out of me.

"HELLO, DON. THIS IS GOD SPEAKING. YOU'RE GOING KIND OF FAST... AREN'T YOU, DON?"

That two-way is probably Jerry's. He was packin' radios when we met up outside Auburn. He offered to share, but I had to turn him down. I didn't think I'd be able to hear anything at speeds greater than about 12 mph.

                If it ain't Jerry's, it's gotta be Greg's.

Very nice event and a big thanks for Steve for letting us invade, again this year. First class hospitality, as usual.

We had 18 cars, which is a good showing, but I expected more. Some new faces, some old ones we haven't seen for a while, and a few unexpectedly missing.

Next Month's meeting is on Vashon Island. See you there.

Thanks, Steve. I took your suggestion and the drive home was great.

Here are a few photos of the meeting.

All in all, I'd say the meeting was...

although some people seemed to really enjoy it.
