  • Greenwood Seafair Parade

Due to the fact that we're so darned CUTE and due to our Greenwood Knights Award for 17 years of participation in the Greenwood Car Show we've been invited to particpate in the 59th Annual Greenwood Seafair Parade at 5:00 PM July 22, 2009.
More info will be found at:

    http://www.greenwood-phinney.com/eve...eafair-parade/

They are late in inviting us, I need a car count asap. Note that they require proof of insurance for each vehicle (like the one you show the police on a bad day). Please post with any intentions to join in.

Barbara and I will be there, that's two cars. I'll check with another Greenwood Mini owner as well.

There will be one more Greenwood Mini. Niko isn't a club member but he's close.

I spoke with the parade organizer today. She needed to know if our cars leaked any oil. "Not a lot" was my reply. They may put us behind any marching bands or drill teams.

Should we provide our equivelent of the guy with the shovel that follows the horses?

I've just been notified that the parade organizers need copies of our proof of insurance cards ahead of the parade date. Would the participants please e-mail or fax your cards to me?

                          THIS JUST IN!!!!
Rather than fart around with the Ould Triangle we're going to meet at the official parade gathering place of the QFC at 85th and 15th Ave NW. The organizers want us there at 5:00 but some of us may be found at Goofy's Bar and Grill right across 15th around 4:00.

I have three people who want to ride in the parade. Will anyone else who is coming be able to offer a ride?

                            thanks much!
