Peter, Robin and I will be taking the 10:20 from Southworth. See you at the roasterie. Also, if anyone wants to meet at Port Orchard Shari's on SR-16 & Sedgewick Rd for breakfast let me know.

Pres and the Staff Car will be there for sure.

Please note that Peter has picked out a new place for us to lunch this year. It is a no host lunch (SAMOA will be picking up the tab for the following two meetings/BBQs, but not this one) at what I'm sure you'll find to be a good spot to finish the day's adventures. Even if you don't stay for lunch, stop for a while, have a coffee and park your Mini with the rest for one last photo opportunity.

Just want to encourage all of you to come to lunch - Back Bay is a great place for lunch and given good weather, we can sit outside on the deck. There will be a choice of hamburgers, chickenburgers, veggieburgers,or brats and includes fries and coleslaw or potato salad and a nonalcoholic drink all for $10 each. ALcoholic drinks are also available! Peter

Jerry C & Noreen are planning to make the trip. We would plan to meet up at Lincoln Park with Ed & Don & crew(s).

Just to make things a little more interesting for those traveling to The Bash, the very low tides are causing problems. According to today's The Seattle Times, some runs (especially Vashon) will impose load restrictions for some vehicles, like those "with ground clearance of less than 14 inches" and "some small sports cars." Before we set ferry crossing times, we'll need to check tides!
The more I know about Minis, the more I know I don't know about Minis.

I checked with the Wash state ferry
webside for june 08 they have very
                              low tide:
                              6.4.- 6.7.08. and
                              6.17.08 - 6.3o.08.
Trucks with a clearance of less than
14" should not travel from and to
                              Northend vashon and Tacoma side.
So I hope weare ok for June 14,
but I will check during week too.
Actually I will go off the Island to-\
                              morrow and checks things out.
