  • Informal Event - Sundays all summer

As I mentioned at the meeting last night, there is an informal weekly meeting for Motorsport Enthusiasts occuring all summer, much akin to "cars and coffee" on the eastside. It will be taking place in the University Village every Sunday from 9am - 11am through August 29th. While it is hosted by a *** Motorsport shop, all makes are welcome and encouraged. The inaugural meeting last weekend hosted a classic ferrari, along with classic Porsches and ***s. The event takes place in the Parking lot across from Pottery Barn kids and Starbucks.

I didn't realize that B M W was a swear word on this site, and thus, shows up only as ***. Well played site administrator..... well played.

I was one of the first members of this site and in almost 2 1/2 years this is the first time I noticed the censoring.

It's good to see you found a way around the problem. Another way would be to avoid abbreviations, i.e. Bayerische Motoren Werke when referring to the maker of the MINI.

      Cheers,

Weather permitting, Don and I will be cruising to U Village this Sunday, the 25th. Anyone else care to join in the fun? We'll be leaving Don's place around 8:45am.

                            Some photos:

Ed, Marian and I showed up. Had a good time splain'in the whole Mini thing to those gathered. A definate German theme as expected, I don't know an M5 from an M barrassment, this is a good place to get an education. Hang out for a bit and then go do your Sunday chores, great fun.
