  • Single Drum Retaining Screw?

I'm in the process of replacing the bearings on one of my rear hubs. When I removed the drum I noticed there was only 1 retaining screw in place (the other hole had no screw in it). I was considering running out and getting another screw, then I noticed there is also only 1 screw hole in my hub. Is this normal? It would seem to me that there are 2 holes in the drum for a reason.

The majority of Minis produced used two screws, but that did change to one screw. It would be normal for your car.
The more I know about Minis, the more I know I don't know about Minis.

Cool - I'll sleep better knowing that my brakes aren't compromised. Thanks Chuck!
