  • Chirping noise

Okay, this will be a tough one, but on my '67 MKII I am getting this chirping type noise from the left front somewhere. If I let off the gas it goes away but under acceleration I hear it. It seems to be more pronounced when making left turns and doesn't appear until the car warms up and can come at go seemingly at random. I also seem to be getting the sensation that I have an out of round tire at slower speeds 30mph ish, the tires are new and I think this is somehow related to the chirping.

With the rather subjective description can anyone offer any wisdom?

    Thanks,

    Craig

Hi again, a bearing perhaps? Jack up the car, carefully, and test out the amount of play.
    Good luck with it.

Maybe the tire is rubbing on the shock?
