  • Oil cooler leaking

I was out for a nice drive today to the Mud Mountain Dam. While I was there I noticed a large puddle of oil under my front bumper, not under the engine. I pulled off the front grill and saw that oil was seeping out of the bottom edge of the oil cooler. Any advice to remedy this? Is it a DIY project or do I need professional help? Thanks

Unless you are driving to AZ or racing the car, you really don't need an oil cooler in WA. Just take it out.

Second James' advice. You can go to all the trouble of saving the oil cooler but then you should almost always be running with the face blocked off!

Thanks. I'm going to delete it.

Deleted it yesterday and replaced with the spendy hose from the block to the oil filter housing. So far so good.
