Hi all,
First off, Happy Holidays! I havent been to a meeting yet, but plan too as soon as I get my estate up and running! Which leads me into my question.
I am converting my 998 to a 1275, which means converting from an inertia type starter to a pre-engaged starter. I'm having troubles finding how to correctly wire up the new stater using my old solenoid as the relay. I've found some forums that talk about it, but nothing that describes it in the simplest form for us folks who think electrical issues are solved with magic.
To make matters even worse, I am also converting to an electronic distributor. So that has me even more confused!
Has anyone done this conversion before that can explain it to a simpleton such as myself??
Cheers!
Justin
