  • Brake pedal

    sometimes my brakepedal comes not all the way back in the resting p osition
    after braking, then sometimes if that happens my brake light light stays on
    (switch at the pedal) so I pull it back by hand or foot
    Start greasing the shaft assembly where clutch and brake pedail are running.
    Clutch pedal always comes back. but the brake doesn t
    Any other things i can do to fix it.

    Hi Peter,
    Check the clevis pin that connects the master cylinder "yoke" to the brake pedal "rod". My first "quick guess" is that it is worn.
    Good luck. ( Are you bringing it to greenwood? )

        Is the return spring ok? It is possible for the spring leg on the brake side to break and still allow the clutch side to work.

        I have always used oil on the pedal assembly since it runs on a bronze bushing. With grease it's hard to get any lubrication in place without taking apart the entire assembly.
