  • Bunch of cool rare parts.

This website which i'm sure most of you are aware of Dinky's in Japan, but anyways, they have a bunch of old rare parts of vintage minis. Maybe they are of interest to those who have no limit to how deep their pockets go.

Dinky's Stock of old mini parts

or just simply browse them for the pleasure of viewing.

also check out their huge selection of speedwell parts.
this link is pre translated so you can view it in english....well mostly.

Some cool stuff. I'm sure the sticker price would be more shocking if I knew the exchange rate.

around 94-96 yen to the dollar... pretty easy math... roughly 1 yen is a penny... or 100yen a dollar. and then add a little extra 10 or so percent.
      very pricey stuff.

if there is any part anyone wants, i should be able to source it and setup a way to purchase and ship it. just if anyone was curious about any part.

                  Hey, Dave! Full-width pickup bumpers!

Too rich for my blood, though ($650 per).

There are some amazing parts available through Dinky. Reason enough to play the lottery, I guess.

I've been having a great time checking out the exotic and rare parts available on the various sites Tim's provided. Unfortunately, most of the stuff is prohibitively expensive, but fun to look at all the same.

Maybe you saw this car for sale on the Kent site. It's labeled "M Sport Totchini," and could be Mini-based, I guess. I couldn't find any more info on the car. Even the ol' Internets let me down.

Just seeing some of this stuff would be worth the airfare to Japan.

here is another website that has a few cool vintage bits... but also a bunch of cool later bits! and there is an english speaking contact to purchase these parts.

                        Turtle Trading

and that car above is pretty unique, i've seen a few interesting vehicles that appear to be based on minis, but this one above is really different!

I keep telling people how awesome the mini following is in japan, and now dan sees what i'm saying. Its incredible what there can be found in japan! this is scratching the surface.

That green car is very interesting. Appears to be based on a Moke from the looks of the side below the door.
