  • SAMOA drive-in

I grew up in Seattle and was a SAMOA member in the sixties but I never heard of The Samoa Drive-in on Mercer Island until now. Sounds like it was a real hang out for high school kids and would have been a good place for SAMOA members to hang out at too. Anyone have memories of the place?

Can't help you with the Samoa, Ed. In those days, I was down in Renton eagerly scarfing those 19-cent "Dag-alicious" burgers.

Got by me, too. I was relatively close; just across the bridge at the UW, but with no transportation, Mercer Island was another world. Come to think of it, it always has been.
