Some of you my already know the new addition to my mini family. Allen S has owned it for several years, and it was on display IN a Tacoma showroom for awhile after he imported it. I chose this car to replace Berry after it's untimely demise, and brought it home Tues. night.

I've named him Ted, I'll explain later.
Ted is a '61 Austin Seven De-Luxe. Build date 15-Sept 61 and dispatched to a dealer in Bristol on the 20th.

He still retains it original color (Old English White) and trim color (Gray Fleck and Tartan Red)

He was updated / molested with sport steering wheel and shift knob (for sale, see forum) late model front sub-frame with 1275 A+ motor, 8.4 brakes and 12" wheels. The plan for the future is to return to 10" wheels with S brakes, replace the MKIII speedo for an early style, and fabricate a new exhaust system. I had a MKI steering wheel and shift knob that I installed last night, and will be out in the garage in a few minutes to work on an exhaust system.

Sorry about what you had to go through to get it but that's one SWEET Mini, James! You certainly deserve it. Hope to see you and Ted (can't wait for the explanation) soon.

Wow! Sweet ride! How did they mount the two bolt subframe up to the early 4 bolt bulk head? I want to see this little sweetheart; are you coming to the food drive?
