    I could get over 50mpg.

The Oselli Clubman that traveled around the US.
And that was English big gallons; e.g. 46 mpg in US gallons.
The more I know about Minis, the more I know I don't know about Minis.

I have to recuse myself from this puzzle. The Duke brought it up at the Christ the King show. Just remember that I can be bought. Don

        ANOTHER CLUE

More of this model was sold to the Americas than any other country.

If "mini" in the initial question rather than "Mini" is a clue there are a couple of other possibilities.

                    ANOTHER CLUE

Mini is part of its name and should capitalized. Thanks Chuck.

Is "Bike" the other part of the name?

No "Bike" isn't part of the name

English Moke came to mind, but never over 50 mpg (at least on US gallons) and the English ones were actually single seaters with all three of the other seats as options.
