  • If you could own any mini in the history...

If you could own any mini in the history of all minis produced what would it be and why?

    Some rules.

You cannot pick one you already own.
There is no wrong or right answer.

    Ok here is mine.

AJB 44B 1965 Monte Carlo winner! I have always wanted a rally mini. I seemed drawn to them ever since the first time I saw them...

This is a question that is going to take some thinking!
However, if it had to be a Works car, AJB44B would be my choice, too. It represents one of the greatest Monte Carlo drives ever.
The more I know about Minis, the more I know I don't know about Minis.

A factory Rover Cabriolet in that fantastic Green. Everytime I see George and Char's example, I have to make sure not to drool too much.

No, Bull. The Designer would have to wait until I could own one of those kewl 40th Anniversary Sport Packs.

For me, it would have to be 621 AOK. I love the old minis "The older the better". Owning AOK would be like owning the final draft of a grate novel written and signed in the authers own hand. I know I'm a bit strange ,but that's my pick.
"remember, in this country, they drive on the wrong side of the road"
              ‘64 Austin Countryman-???
'60's Austin mini truck - the chicken truck
              '60 Morris Van - Marvan
'55 Chevy wagon- the heavy Chevy

                That would be cool.

I wouldn't mind an original Speedwell. It was a toss up.

I'd take one of the Twinni Mokes, please.

Looks like at the Gaydon (Heritage) Museum. I've seen that one there and much earlier at the Syon Park Museum near London. And before that, only in photos running around in the snow.
A second one has turned up, now owned by the guy who purchased my Wildgoose. It is still in England and not much more than a body shell last time I heard.
The one I'd really like is the one built for the US Army to test.

Peter, one of the nicest examples of a Mk III Cooper S is in Tacoma. Owned by club member Alan Smith. It's for sale, but if you have to ask for how much, you can't afford it!

                            2. 1071 Cooper S-just because.
