For those Mini fans with a little gray in what's left of their hair, this is not likely to be good news. AMC is going to remake The Prisoner.

It will be "reinterpretted" to reflect "21st-century concerns and anxieties, such as liberty, security and surveillance."

In other words, it will have about as much relationship to the original as MINIs do to Minis.

I wonder how they'll "reinterpret" the Mokes of the original.

Oh I thought you were referring to the Nash Metro, with it's Mini motor being held prisoner in an Rambler body. I wonder if that's anything like body dysmorphic syndrome? Or in this case engine dysmorphic syndrome? Actually Nash Metros are cool in their own way, I've seen a few I wouldn't mind hiding in my garage.

......remember we are a real industry, not sure what a Mini is, but we make fabulous wood warplanes, have you ever seen planes at war, it is something to watch all those shavings, sawdust and chips flying all over the place, oh did I mention chips we have real honest to goodness warchips too.....

is that the tv show where everyone had thier own little cottage ? and the show always started with him trying to run away on a beach when a big ball got him in the face???
