Just a reminder that the annual LeMay open house (not America's Car Museum, but the LeMay Family Foundation) is less than 2 weeks away. Not a Mini-specific event by any means (neither is Greenwood, right?), but there are a couple of Minis in the collection, and there is lots to see for any fan of autos.
There are several ways to participate:
--show a car (I'll be bringing a vehicle)
--be a spectator -- $15 to get in, supports the Foundation's activities.
--be a volunteer at the show -- get a free hat and shirt, lunch, and hang out with a bunch of car people
--be a volunteer before the show -- they need people to wash cars, move cars, and generally get everything ready for the big show
--volunteer year-round -- either as a tour guide or a maintenance person (oil changes, etc). I think I've read that they're even happy with a person who can contribute 4 hours a month.

Info about "LeMay -- America's Car Museum" and "the LeMay Family Collection" explained nicely here: http://www.thenewstribune.com/2012/0...eam-alive.html
If you want more info (about volunteering, for example), let me know.
