  • a familiar Mini sighting

Spotted this Mk1 Cooper S on the I-5S University Bridge this morning. I believe I've seen it at club meetings, but can't recall which of you is the owner.

Too bad I didn't drive my Mini this morning (almost did!). Would've been a rare event for two Minis to have come upon each other by happenstance.

Anyhow, where did you get your driver's side clip-on mirror? Is it truly a left-hand drive side mirror? I bought a similar new old stock mirror made by UniPart on eBay, but later realized it's angled for RHD only. I'm now on the lookout for a LHD clip-on mirror. Let me know if you have a source!

Yup. Overtaking mirror. Looks like the Maloneymobile.
