    Ouch!

James, is everyone OK, or was it just you in the car? If so, are you OK?
It's all part of life's rich tapestry.

          Oh, deer.
The more I know about Minis, the more I know I don't know about Minis.

That's a real shame, James. I trust you're OK (other than the obvious).

You didn't bend suspension or subframe, did you? You have almost six weeks; maybe Gunnar can patch it up for you.

Ouch! That really sucks, did you actually hit the deer or embankment? We almost hit one the other night in the Volkswagen.

Hope Megumi gets back on her feet soon.

If you still had the 12's on it you might have just been able to clear the deer.

                    Wow, James!

I'm glad you're okay enough to think about fixxing it up before MMW! Sorry to hear about your little darling, though.

Let me know if I can help. I have a new grill in my office.

                    Also,
I have a line on a car that is VERY similar to yours that might be being dissassembled right now for NON Body related parts you might be able to use, if you need any. The owner has just become a member of our site, and has posted up. See posting by BSVTEC...... His name is Brett.

I wish you the best, James.

                    Best regards,
                    MSH

                      Deer are such destructive creatures!!

At our old place we had resident deer who would bed down in the back yard, they were almost tame enough to be pets. The fly in the ointment was that the were voracious feeders they ate everything in sight! One year about three weeks before Halloween I had a couple of giant pumpkins they took about a six inch round chunk out of each clear through the rind. Both had pretty good rotten spots by Halloween.

Nothing was safe from them, if it grew they ate it period! Squash, green beans, peas, corn, tomatoes, roses, bamboo... By the time we moved I was ready to do a little hunting with the truck bumper myself!
