Countries where Minis were made

We have so many different countries of production represented in our club, so I thought to put together a thread on Mini Mania.
Please offer up any additional information you have regarding those country's production of Minis on that thread

Niice list you put together!
The hard part is defining what you mean by Minis being "made." There's everything from putting together a CKD without adding any "local content" (I had an Irish assembled Mini that was like that) to producing all the major components and assembling them -- England being the only country I can think of that did so. And only one other country built their own engines.
