  • Early Speedo

New old stock speedometer as fitted to '59-'61 Minis. SN 4409/00 1408. Some wee beast has made its way past the packaging to leave some dirt on the inside of the glass and there is one small spot of corrosion on the bezel, otherwise excellent. It will look much better sitting in your binacle than sitting on my shelf. $100. Don

Nice speedo! I looks to be an early Austin. If I remember correctly the Morris ones are silver face with a wide clear needle with red tip. Notice the switched positions of the oil pressure light and high beem indicator light. Verry cool. Now if I only had an early Austin car to put it in hummmmm............

Yes, very rare early Austin. Note the lack of tenths, too. Unfortunately, I just spent all my money on fancy wheels or I'd buy it.
The more I know about Minis, the more I know I don't know about Minis.

          Don!
I had no idea you could see into the future like that! I could have used a heads up on the whole FIRE thing but, you where wright. I'm now the proud new owner of a 61 Austin Seven that would love to have an original speedo back in it. Lets talk. Oh and while your at it, how about next weeks winning LOTTO #'s. Come on , I won't tell anyone else!
